Charity and Team Meat Art Contest

This October we had a charity drive in the icon mod thread, with $0.05 per 140x90 thumbnail going to charity. The mods delivered with 8,537 new thumbnails, bringing our total to 115,772 awaiting the redesign.

Newgrounds has decided to raise its donation to $0.30 per thumbnail and will be contributing $2500 to Penny Arcade's Child's Play Charity, giver of toys and games to children in over 70 hospitals worldwide. Check out the Icon Rankings and thank guys like Bahamut, Heinrich, Travis, cast and the whole lot of them! Bahamut and Travis rallied especially hard for charity. They are building a better tomorrow... today!

To celebrate the one year anniversary of Super Meat Boy on XBLA and Steam, Edmund is giving away the drawing tablet he used to make it!

The lucky recipient will be the winner of a new art contest. Remember the Draw Edmund Naked contest from 2009? Well this time you need to DRAW EDMUND AND TOMMY (aka Team Meat) NAKED!

Rules:
1) Draw Edmund and Tommy naked.
2) Submit your art to the Art Portal.
3) Tag it with "teammeat"
4) Probably rate it as Adult.
5) Post your link in this thread.
6) Don't forget to have fun!

The deadline is November 30th, the one year anniversary of SMB's Steam release so this better be STEAMY. Here's what Edmund and Tommy look like:

Aw really? Damn. If I'd had known this I would've joined in, but I haven't checked the Icon Mod thread in quite some time now. My bad I guess.

Are you going to do anything like this again anytime soon Tom? I would love to help out as well next time.

It's now bumped up to $2,500 as opposed to $450 or so? Wow, now I'm even more proud to have helped out a lot with icons in October. Like I said in the icon mod thread, I'm happy the hard work I've done has raised money for Child's Play Charity and will hope that money is invested well.

Good to hear that over $400.00 was donated. I wish I could have contributed more but life got in the way.
