FBI labels juggalos a gang

Can't say I find this surprising. I used to work for the carnival, where most of my co-workers were juggalos.(my brother is also a fan, tho I think they suck personally)

They always seemed to act the same, think the same, dress the same, and they always acted kind of gang-like. You're a juggalo? Well, then you're family, whatever that means. They were almost always peckerwoods, too. Every peckerwood I've ever met, liked ICP.

So, I guess the point of this topic is: do you agree?

Do you think juggalos count as a gang? I don't. They don't do any of the activities that a gang normally does. They also lack leadership.(unless you count ICP) They're mostly harmless.

IMO, they're not centrally organized or have a real criminal objective like an actual gang. They're just a bunch of people who have tin ears and a loose association around this juggalo ideal.

They have some similarities with Bloods and Crips (if you join, you're family), but they're hardly as dangerous as those gangs. I doubt they're capable of killing people, so I wouldn't really classify them as a gang, just an annoying group of douchebags.

I mean, I don't think all juggalos are bad people, but personally, I think the beats of most juggalo groups suck, the lyrics are cheesey and usually about ghosts, demons, or psychopathic killers. They cater to white suburban teenagers, and poor white peckerwood adults.

Most actual gangsters don't give a shit about ghosts, or demons or killers. They're too worried about surviving, making money, and arguing who owns what turf. Juggalos are too disorganized for that shit, and the FBI 2011 gang threat assessment even mentions that. Why they still label them as a gang, when they lack the necessary structure is beyond me.

I can only reason that it's because they all wear the same colors, logos, and they all shop at walmart.
