Alright, I'm posting way too much in this topic. But I have to halfly agree with this--The content was pretty much the same, anyone saying that the content is much different is full of it. It's just a lot less active here, I remember there would be at least 400 people online at any given time, 300-200ish at night. The portal had a lot more content as well, yesterday there was only 100 submissions; but it's easier to base by blams of which there were 13 yesterday. This day in 2004 there were 89 blams, 101 in 2005, 98 in 2006.

The forum was a little less developed too, 'collaborations' were a new thing at one time and there were no guidelines to making them. The flash forum was active enough to just chill there all day. It was a lot more raw and much more active ... So I wouldn't say it was too much "different" just a lot more to do.

Well, not having as much people to hang with, I guess I can see how that would be a bit of an annoyance. Not to mention, Newgrounds was probably still "Newish" at the time.
