So talk about where you thought about this idea, personal stories or friends experiences.. perhaps a joke of walk into the light or where the ability for us as humans come from to be able to incision a near death experience.. perhaps how the brain is functioning with its blood flow durring a body injury and sleep see stars and what not..

I lost a lot of blood very very slowly over a period of months.

I was bed-ridden for 5 weeks under my mother's care.

I started having fainting spells and fainted on the way to the bathroom and shit myself so my mom called an ambulance.

A normal human male functions with a hemoglobin level of 12-13 (red blood cell count)

I was hospitalized with a hemoglobin level of 3.

Since the blood loss was so gradual, and still ongoing my body adapted and i was able to stay alive.

I was hospitalized while they tried to stop the bleeding and replenish my blood.

I coded in the hospital after a non-invasive procedure that caused me to lose even more blood.
(my blood pressure dropped off sharply)

I was in icu for a while... and slowly made my recovery.

I received 22 blood transfusions during my 6 week stay in the hospital.

In 1997, when my dad was 31, my dad got crushed by over 2500 pounds of steel. Since he was active, he didn't die. However, he was in critical condition for six months, then came out of the hospital almost half a year later. My dad was on wheelchair for 4 years, crutches for 6 months, and a cane for 4 years, until his bones grew back. I am going to submit this story into the show "The Indestructibles".

Yes, once I was riding my bike up and down a street and this giant jeep comes swerving around the curb headlights blasting right in my eyes. Neither me or the driver had time to react so I pretty much went numb and my bike went right into a ditch. It was like I was posessed. Not even a week later the same jeep and I had a similar meeting except not as close. I should note I live in a small town so it's not that strange.
