I would say Maine. The bay breeze, the natural beauty, and not much industrialization. I remember sitting by the bay at twilight watch the ocean with the fresh air, it was beautiful.
I would follow it up with New York. Not the city, but if you go north (Like way north), you'll find the Adirondack Mountains. Standing atop even a moderate size mountain you can see miles and miles of natural lush trees and rolling hills. Sometimes the sun just breaks the side of a mountain and it looks like a giant doorway to light.
It's breathtaking.

Fun Fact: Rummy0 made this sig below to insult me!
And I took it as my own. :3
Your really interested in boosting up California huh? Anyway it's Tennessee because of the smoky mountains you don't know what a view is until you see mountains from a Eagles eye-view.

I've never been west of the Mississippi, but in all of my recent travels, I have not found a more beautiful state than Michigan. We're all biased towards our home states, but I think Michigan beats almost anything. It's a nice state to visit: To the south are cities, including Detroit, and the farther north you go, the more trees you find.
It's two peninsulas, so if you like freshwater fishing, you'll love it here. The Great Lakes themselves are something everyone needs to see before they die. The lower peninsula is pretty much flat, but the upper peninsula is heavily forested and has some big hills. I love it here, I can take a 1000 mile round trip in just one state.

Plus it's where that delicious Mackinac Island fudge comes from!
I've never been to California, but I would have to say you're right. I believe it's the third biggest state (next to Texas and Alaska) but of all those states, it has the widest variety of weather. In Alaska, everything is cold everywhere so it's nothing to be interested by. In Texas, it's a bit too hot, but in California, you can be in a place where you don't have to worry about pleasing different kinds of people because of the diversity.

I think washington is pretty beautiful.

Never been there before, but I'd have to say Alaska; especially over California. California is "cool and all", but Alaska is where true beauty is at. Even just from the pictures.
Girl, if you look that good on paper...
Boop boop beep boop.
I don't think anyone would really know unless they've been to every state and even then it's just perception.

I'd put Montana a close second to Alaska, pretty much Western Montana and South Central Alaska are almost identical.

You're still failing hard dude. Your insults are blatantly homophobic and hateful towards a large group of people. You're digging yourself a hole.
