I watched "Scary Movie" lats night.

It;s apparently a popular comedy by the people I know. I watched it last night and it wasn't even remotly funny and got me mad. Did any of you guys think it was funny?

It's all about context. At the time scream was a popular series and it breathed fresh air into the horror movie genre. This inspired new life into another dead genre, the parody genre, which came back with full force following scary movie. Today Scream is kind of weak and Scary movie is dumb but back then it was cutting edge entertainment.

I think it is funny, and I don't care if you think differently. It is a old movie by now, so most jokes are either to old to understand today, or they have been overused over the time.

After that, they we're just milking the genre for what it had left.

Scary Movie had it's moments. Of course, I didn't experience these moments until I was fourteen because my parents didn't like the idea of it.

Probably a good idea, now that I think of it.

Not a child friendly movie.

I enjoyed the first 2, after that they started to suck. It's probably because after the 2nd one they really cut back on the crude humor.

Scary Movie 1 and 3 were the best, followed by 4, then lastly 2. If you think 2 is better than the others, you are snurg gurgglers.

I liked 1 and 2 only, as the Wayne's brothers still acted in those ones.
I especially love part 2 with the gimp handed butler.

The first three scary movies were awesome, the fourth one had it's moments, and all of the other films in the "... movie" series were sub par, aside from Teen Movie.

I personally enjoyed 1 and 3.

The second movie was okay though somewhat more perverted, the last one however had it's moments but pretty disappointing overall.

"Superhero Movie" was intended to be the fifth movie...

I've seen them all and they're funny in a dumb way, except for the second one, that one really is just unfunny. Even then, it's still a million miles ahead of the stuff by Seltzer and Friedberg, "Epic Movie", "Disaster Movie", etc. Watch that stuff if you want to see something absolutely horrifying. Besides, it's Halloween so you should watch a genuinely scary movie. I can't think of many other horror movie spoofs.

I enjoyed the first three Scary Movie films. Then there was number four and after the third one the comedy and humor began going down and less and less funny. I'm surprised they are still going even though they aren't funny anymore.
