Wasn't this exact thread made like a week ago? Or was that just another whiny internet tough guy? Whatever.

I can think of 2 deaths that haven't even occurred yet that get me crying heavy tears and wreck me inside. So I dread to think what is going to happen when they do die. I'll be torn up, broken, inconsolable and why? Because they mean so much to me.

I don't generally care about people I don't know dying. Like you said it happens all the damn time. Can't have life without death. Sunrise, sunset. But when someone touches your heart, when you connect with them, losing them doesn't just leave a hole in your heart, it leaves a hole in your soul.

Not crying or getting upset when a loved one dies, human or pet doesn't make you a big man. It actually makes you a weaker person.

Has anyone you know ever died? (And no, I'm not trying to prove point.)

OP is hardcore, he has no emotions, just like those guys in the moving pictures. What a badass, we should get him a medal for being the pinnacle of todays generation...Heartless, stupid, cavemen.

I understand human emotion, in my opinion. I'm pretty inteligent (modesty is for Christians), and I think logicaly, and quite frankly, i'm a bit detached from my emotions. I don't cry, adn i'm not sure if feeling sad is just the instictual feeling of selfish losss. Maybe a bit of social conformity thrown in?

Implying emotions are illogical is pretty silly.

Sorry, I'm a bit stoned atm, so this may not be overly coherent

A stoned autistic sociopath, God damn.

Sometimes the manner of death, or perhaps the idea of a relatively good/young person dying, is worth mourning.

To get lost up in the mourning is crazy, as is perhaps even the mourning. But sadness over such death is nothing to look down upon.

Crying over death is natural, not seeing the dead person die and crying is one thing.(unless of course they are important to you.)

But I don't care who you are, If you literally see a person actually die it's going to alter your mood for a moment.

Judging people by there emotions? Death happens all the time? Please, that line gets staler every time it is used.

These are the emotions that make us human beings, and everyone wants to seem to destroy the human inside of us to the point where were basically robots going through the motions of life.
