Now don't get me wrong I wholeheartedly give my condolences to the Job's family for their loss, but frankly I'm glad he's dead.

I don't think Steve Jobs has direct control over what people do in China, seeing as he lived in the US. All he saw were production costs, productivity, basically, the sales and other business aspects and shit.

Also, that's how they do things in Asia. The Chinese have very little regard for the human health, welfare, and lives of others, let alone that of themselves. The Chinese and Japanese will literally, and I'm not saying this figuratively, work themselves to death. It's happened. A lot.

They have strict society, culture which aims at complete and total discipline. Couple that with trying to uphold the family honor and make your country, family, and co-workers proud and you have a recipe for disaster.

They either work so hard they go into a coma.(and yes, that's actually CAN happen) or they commit suicide because they think they are worthless, because they're not measuring up to everyone else's impossibly high expectations.

Steve Jobs was a pretentious, uptight asshole and perfectionist, yes, that is true. But I don't think the man was a monster, nor do I think he would knowingly endanger lives.

Actually, Foxxconn makes chipsets for about 90% of all computer hardware, including most motherboards and even the XBox 360 contains Foxxconn hardware.
