Aww man, I wish Las Venturas was in this game.

I REALLY want to see the city of lights to be represented in High Definition in GTA V. I really wonder how good they can pull it off, and make it look realistic.

I tried playing San Andreas, but I can't bear the crappy graphics. I'm so glad GTA has moved on to so much better graphics that makes everything much more believable and realistic.

I'm willing to buy Las Venturas and San Fierro as DLC packs, and I've never really bought DLC packs before.

Admittedly, that would be some awesome DLC but I think it would also be some of the most expensive DLC we've ever seen.

I doubt it'd be more expensive than the Shivering Isles, considering it's Rockstar I'd say it'd be about 800 - 1200. They generally seem to have good prices for DLC.

And good DLC in general. Fucking Lost and Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony was worth the price. Sure, much, much short than the core game, but still great. It added to the story (The diamonds were a great motif) that crossed everything.

Fucking Saints Row 2's DLC weren't worth a damn thing. I regretted spending any money on it.

Wasn't Shivering Isles 2400MSP which is £20? Either way, it's not like they'd just be adding a few missions and stuff to an existing map like they did with Lost and Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony. They'd have to create a new map and do all that stuff on top of it, so they'd essentially be creating a new game if you think about it. I don't realistically see it becoming future DLC but I'd love to be wrong on that one.

Anybody have seen the new trailer ??

it look very good and I was admirating all of this shit today but is it me or it look like a serious GTA ???
Like the graphic , the city , all of the background look very serious like it was made from another compagny then Rockstar...

Thats my only doubt , I just wish GTA doesnt turn like a B-free roam driving games like Driver , or you know all the shit games that copy GTA and its not good. The trailer looked like this kind of games.

And whats the city names by the way ? It looked like Florida ?

You'd be spending quite a lot of time in the Castro district.

I think a GTA set in London might be quite good. Especially seeing as GTA is a British, or more specifically Scottish, series. It would be nice to see them pay homage to their homeland again.

We've got Los Santos anyway, so I guess there's not much point in this debate.

I agree with the London setting. I hope they do one at some point, I could see it being a lot of fun.

I just think about all the Cockney and swearing and I literally drool. I think it would appeal quite a lot still to an American audience if that is one of Rockstars worries.

I just hope they get a better voice actor than the guy who had the English accent on Saints Row 2. It was funny as hell but got sort of annoying after a while. I guess that was what they were trying to achieve though.

I don't think Americans would have much of a problem with a British organised crime scene. I'd say that the way our gangsters are portrayed is far more gritty and I just generally find them to be more exciting.

I think they could take a leaf out of Uncharted book.

Ignore the fact that Uncharted in a completely different game to GTA. Just watch the opening above, ignore the commentary, though I like the guy myself. They manage to make a London back street pub look pretty and that's the important bit. This is what makes me feel a London GTA could work. It'd be a lovely setting really.

Like 1000% better than The Getaway, which wasn't a bad game.

I think more than anything, it would be a nice change. Things can get stale with GTA gangsters after a while. A new take with a different nation would freshen the series up. I think personally.

Yeah, that kinda annoyed me. Why wasn't there a simple white accent midwest accent? I had to use that.

More interesting than England would have been Japan. They could have had a nice Yakuza thing going on. It would be a VERY different setting and it would be a chance to explore a new kind of game none of the consoles have really touched upon.

Aw shit, Bully. Believe it or not, back in the PS2 days I enjoyed Bully more than I did San Andreas. They were developing a Bully 2 but it was eventually cancelled, I believe.

OOH what if in GTA V you play as a grown up Jimmy Hopkins? Yea, that's it. Figured it out.

Me too. But it won't ever come out.

Still, what if the cats that did Saints Row did a Bully clone? That would be kinda neat.

I think it would be and being a member of the Yakuza would lead to some awesome quest due to the sheer power that the Yakuza has in the country. The government is embarrassed by it.

Except the UK is a nanny state and you have to be 18 to buy a kitchen set or a nerf gun. The police don't have guns. Terrible setting for a GTA game.

I have to agree, why the hell would I want to drive round the shitty roads of london on a grey afternoon?

sure the sound of shooting up some chav's sounds like fun I would rather be actually doing it than a hole game dedicate to it.
