Ever been to a movie theater where you had a awful experience that it made you think about whether if you should go back one day?

No, not really. Care to share your story, though?

Went to see John Q back in the day and these old men got into a fight. One brought a gun out and everyone in the theatre ran the hell out lol.
Never saw the end of the movie either.

This one time, a whole family with like 5 little kids brought flashlights into the movie and it was really fucking annoying.

Just babies crying or people talking during the movie.
Nothing too bad.

It depends on the theater I go to.
I recently went back to a local theater for the first time in years. Unfortunately, it appears that the "no talking during a movie" rule has disappeared since my last visit.
I actually had to switch seats in the theater because of the incessant yapping of the middle-aged couple behind me, and the frequent ringing from their cell phones.

Not really a bad experience just funny.
Me and some friends went to see The Last Airbender in theaters. One person who came to see it (or rather listen to it) was a blind person with a seeing-eye dog. When the movie got quiet at one point the dog decided to bark. The whole theater lost it.

No not really, most of the theaters I was at the people watching the movie I was watching seemed to have tolerable behavior. Went to watch that Johnny English movie on Friday and it was alright since there was only about 10 people watching it. Almost like having the whole theater section to yourself...almost.

Closest I ever came was when the theater was almost full (I forget what the movie was) and some giant sat down right in front of me. But then his seat broke from the weight and he moved down the row.

I saw "Disaster Movie" in a theater. It was easily the worst experience I ever had at a theater. I was the only one there too.

I hate movie theaters, the majority of people who go to them are douchebags.
I usually go to drive ins, or just wait for the DVD/Blu Ray.

I stick to DVD, movie theaters are expensive as hell. I tend to laugh too much at shitty horror films and wanna be highschool assholes.

Back in '010 I watched Astro Boy in a really cheap, crummy theater located near a really ghetto area.
There were grown ups cheering and swearing over that scene where the big robot was about to crush Hamegg. And there were quite a few kids in the theater. I know since it was in the ghetto most of those kids have heard lots of curse words and probably use them very often, but still. It's not even like the dialogue had anything worth swearing over.

I never want to go back with a certain friend, unless he's not with my best friend. He goes freaking crazy like shit and can't stand a second away from my best friend.

One time when I went I had some really loud, really drunk people sit behind us. They had brought in an entire gallon of Taaka vodka somehow, and they were drinking it. Long story short, they dropped it on the conrete floor, and it shattered and vodka was everywhere. They were escorted out.
Another time I was stupid enough to go to something on opening night, and it was packed. This 80 year old man with a Gandalf beard came and sat next to me. Kept brushing up against me. Creepy. And we weren't seeing LOTR, so no, he wasn't in costume.

Hell nah, I wouldn't even take that sitting down. As if the movie screen doesn't provide enough light? It's a movie theater not a haunted house.

Yes. I used to work at a theater.
Once there was a rental for some kids birthday party and they left used baby diapers behind for us to clean up.
Worst theater experience ever.

I guess when I was about 13 and me and a group of friends got kicked out for being noisy. It was really annoying at the time as we felt we weren't being bad. Looking back, we really were. I know I'd hate to have to listen to loud kids in the cinema myself.

I almost got kicked out because some asshole tried to pick a fight with me after I told his loud and obnoxious girlfriend to stop yelling and cheering during the fucking movie. Really? Cheering?
It's not like the actors can fucking hear you.

It all depends on the place. Big theaters like AMC or Lowes have security that can kick people out of they cause a scene or are loud during a movie. Local ones just don't care unless any property is damaged or if people complain.

There was this one time when we went to see Seed of Chucky and this Arab guy sat next to me and started whacking off.

It can be a living hell sometimes.
Honestly when there's no problems at the theater, the experience can be breathtaking. But some people tends to ruin it.
