C'mon man, You can't be talking about Jason (Friday the 13th) I hope. The gore/slasher movies are meant for entertainment, not suspense. Michael Myers, Freddy Kruger, Jason Voorhees, these were the grandfathers of horror, gotta show em a little respect. I grew up with these guys. Good people, don't talk much, but they handle business.
I did like the First PA, because little is more to me (old school style Hitchcock) but the ending should have been (SPOILER) the guy hitting the camera and it should've just ended. Her lunging at the camera killed the entire atmosphere they created. Just from the previews of the 3rd one, it seems too much. And the 2nd one was a "meh" movie, other than the kitchen scene where all the cabinets open.
