controversial video game idea 2011-10-22 07:52:47 Reply

heres one

A turn based like game set in the middle east and africa during the arab uprising and you either take the side of the protesters and/or rebels or the goverment of the country your in like libya, egypt, syria, etc...

the game can either be an all out civil war like the libyan uprising where you just get a bunch of rebels and the goverment forces and fight so its like a war RTS game

or you could take the egyptian style of gameplay and fight peacefully without having to have a big civil war.

you would be able to call in for foriegn aid and support like the UN, USA, Russian and european wether it would be to aid in the conflict or to put sanctions against the goverment in order to lower their reputation.

other things like propaganda could help by faking videos that the goverment have done atrocities while on the goverments side would be covering up any of the actual atrocites they did commit and if the public finds out then theres a huge blow to their reputation.

pretty basic idea, I didnt really think it through but the idea sounds cool. certaintly better than Raoul moat GTA

Here's three controversial game ideas.

Homo Hell - Kill gay people.

Lesbian Limbo - Explains itself.

Bisexual Bunnies - Hunt Bisexual Bunnies with a shotgun.

Straight Shot - Play as a straight guy and hunt down other sexuality people.

An FPS where you play as an aborted baby Fetus who has become a Zombie and must kill all the doctors and staff in the Hospital to be laid to rest and his gun shoots acidic afterbirth at his victims. The final boss is the Doctor who killed him and a bonus level where the baby escapes the Hospital and attacks pro abortionist politicians.

now if you excuse me I have to go take a shower and shake my head in shame.

A game where you take the role of a blackwater assassin and kill people because a rich lady said "he looked at me funny," the gameplay consists of sneaking into their homes at night and killing them, or hit n' run. You can also bribe cops and judges.

OP's idea is actually pretty good, except for the setting, imo. I've never seen a game where peaceful protest and revolution has been implemented. And it's also pretty rare to have you play the leader of La Resistance.

Whatever bizarre ideas you guys come up with in this thread, will likely be available in video game form in Japan somewhere.

The game starts from the first-person perspective of a student in math class. The teacher is yammering on about some problem that you don't understand, you figure you have decent grades in that class, so you decide to put your head down and take a nap at your desk. The teacher is too involved in the lesson to care about one sleeping student, anyway.

30 minutes pass by, so you look up and act as if you are awake. As soon as you rub your eyes, however, you see that the teacher, as well as a few of the jocks and preppies that used to pick on you, are FUCKING BLACK BEARS.

You remember the rumor that the janitor's closet supposedly had an old shotgun and maybe a rusty pistol in it. Since you are relatively close to the door, you dart to the janitor's closet before they get to you. As luck would have it, the weapons were there. Strange that they weren't locked away. You head back to the classroom to combat the bears. At first, the bears seem bewildered as to why you left the room, until they see you with the gun in your hands. Then they start to panic. One of the larger bears, wearing the varsity jacket of the star quarterback, charges at you and swipes at your arms in an attempt to disarm you. After dispatching the bears in the room, you rally some of the students and see if you can find any other bears wandering about the school, only to see them cowering in fear. Since they are too afraid to fight the bear menace, you decide it's up to you alone.

Going from classroom to classroom, you kill ever-increasing waves of bears. After a certain period, every student and faculty member has seemingly been replaced by bears. When it seems that you've killed them all (or at least the ones that didn't escape), bears with riot shields and kevlar vests pour in from all sides of the school. Eventually, you realize that there are too many. You make a quick trip to the computer lab, writing to your folks, telling them you love them, then finally pulling out the pistol and shooting yourself in the head.

A cutscene then plays, and the camera follows a third person perspective of a doctor. He is seen monitoring his patient, a kid with who attempted suicide and scrambled his brain as a result. In the outside hallway, a few nurses are seen watching the news, and the top story was about a mentally disturbed boy with relatively good grades but often bullied and seen as an outcast by others who ended up killing his peers and teachers out of either a fit of rage or delusions.

The camera switches back to the perspective of the protagonist, who out of the corner of his eye can see a glimpse of the reporter conveying the story; a grizzly bear wearing a suit and tie, growling furiously at the camera.

If you can find an FPS about an aborted fetus, I dare you to find it.
