What are you doing now in attempt to improve? It would help if we knew what the problem was rather than trying to answer this broad question.
The reason people send you to posemaniacs is because you yourself have to visually study the subject and apply it in a practical manner.

THAT'S THE REASON, jesus they've basically been telling me to draw it every day and I have been getting no where, so does that mean i'm supposed to break it down into basic shapes and learn how to make my own poses? I don't need some fancy tutorial??

Animator for hire. Check out the stuff I have on the portal and the forums. If you like something, send me a message.
basically broke it down and it is a HELL of alot easier to draw and faster to! Drawn on doodle paper, explains erase marks but the parts you can't see I guess you can just piece together what I would have done.

Figure drawing dude, here's an example..
it's pretty much just looking at actual pictures of models (usually naked,) in various poses, drawing and studying them (anatomy, proportions, etc.) After a while you will start to remember how everything is, allowing you to create poses for your characters without referencing anything.

That's awesome!!! How long will it take though, years?
I'm ok with that but just want an idea how long it will take before I start to remember everything.

haha, practice makes perfect, some people take longer to learn than others, so I can't give you a definitive answer. Keep drawing and eventually you will get it. I didn't draw this btw, its just an example.

It's generally considered best to use actual models instead of pictures.

It's not an absolute scale... you can always get better. You should start to see some improvement pretty quickly if you do some lifedrawing for 15 minutes each day.
Posemaniacs is a good resource for pics
