He killed hardly any innocent people, the people he got killed were rebels and they deserved to die. He was fighting to protect his people. The minority of the Libyans were protesting him in power. The majority were happy with him being in power.

It's fucking ridiculous because you guys don't pay attention to all the facts and you only pay attention to what you hear on the TV where you live. You don't know what Gaddafi did before all of this happened and you don't know anything about what he did while this was happening.

America made the war going on there worse and caused more blood than they had prevented. The war there would have been stopped in March but even in April it was still happening because NATO got involved.

Gaddafi didn't deserve to die whatsoever, USA made him out as a bad person because it's an opportunity for them to kill him.

Common sense, Obama Administration said there was going to be a massacre and genocidal violence in Libya under the demand of Gaddafi but there was no evidence of that being true, whatsoever.

I'm not saying Gaddafi was a saint but he didn't deserve death whatsoever.

Seriously, how many of you actually paid attention to what was going on there? Every day, how many of you looked at the news or read online about what was going on? And not just your local news, but their news and other shit like Gaddafi before this happened, etc.

Rebels started fighting a war they knew that they couldn't finish and they have done this before. They get USA involved to make the problems worse so that they will get their war.

The US has played the Rebels game once again and it's no surprise.

3% of the people killed were women, none of the killing was discriminant like it was played out to be and the MAJORITY of the people getting killed were rebels, with weapons, who were killing innocent people and causing the war going on there.

Gaddafi was simply protecting his country and people and that's all he was doing. Some times you have to go certain lengths that are not the best in order to do things, and that's what he did. NATO should have stayed the fuck out of there and minded their own damn business, USA should never have been involved! They could have settled their problems themselves and it would have been just fine.

But it was an opportunity, USA took it.

Whatever. A man who deserves life is dead now.

Forgive me Darth Sidious, but he was the rebel in the first place. His bloodless coup, seized power from the monarchy of Libya and from there, the people of Libya were subjected to his increasingly erratic and eccentric behaviour.

I'm not saying that Gaddafi deserved to die the way he did (I believe he should have been held accountable for his crimes, particularly Lockerbie and the killing of WPC Yvonne Fletcher in April 1984) I am of the belief that he sanctioned both of those acts of terrorism, despite the fact that he distanced himself from those issues, while continuing to spout bile about various western countries.

Will this mean a return of the Libyan monarchy? That's a question that not many journalists have asked.
