Hey, my name is Travis and I just bought flash CS5.5 a couple weeks ago. I'm trying to use motion tween to make flashes. I just made a few symbols. (arm symbols, leg symbols, a body symbol, and a head symbol) Then, I arranged them to look like a complete body and turned the whole thing into a symbol named "man." Am I on the right track to making someone whose limbs can rotate and who can be tweened?

Depends on what you're trying to do. You can tween the man symbol around, but moving his arms and legs would have to happen *inside* that symbol. So you would make him run in place IN the symbol (bottom guy) and then tween that across the stage to complete the look (top guy).
