Today in welding class (didn't sign up for it) I forgot to put in my ear plugs. All of a sudden I see this annoying sophomore twat bring the teacher over to where I am and point at me and the other kid saying "earplugs" to show her we weren't wearing any. We get in trouble for the day and we get "lunch detention" (because I am in the 3rd grade...).
I mean really what the fuck is this kid thinking? He walks over to me after I am obviously pissed and ask me why I am mad. I tell him to get the fuck away from me. About five minutes later he comes over to me again and says "You know lunch detention isn't even that bad". I yell at him telling him that I don't even care about that but he better get his ass away from me and it pisses me off that I have to ask him twice.
So later while I am in lunch detention (groan) so pissed off I don't even want to eat the teacher walks out of the room. Lucky for me this little twat has it with me, but I resist the fine opportunity to crack his head open with a chair. While the teacher is gone he gets strangled on his food and when this other guy tried to stand up I tell him somewhat sternly not to help him. He eventually gets the food he was coughing on to go down. He was never in danger of choking (he was coughing to much to be really blocked) but it scared the shit out of him.
What would you have done? Did I get too pissed?

you remind me of ryley from the boondocks.
i will form my foot in your ass!
I hated it when your teacher didn't show up, and one kid always told the office!
If there is one thing that gets my blood boiling, it's fucking morons who follow "snitches get stitches" If you don't follow the rules (although in your case a minor thing, so to a extent I understand your aggravation) expect to get in trouble. I understand some rules are arbitrary and flat out dumb. Trust me there are rules I fight on too.
However point is, if you don't follow the rules and you get in trouble, fucking deal with it. If every asshole that broke the rules, or a more major law type deal and no one ever said anything because "snitches get stitches" we'd never catch anyone and we'd have social chaos. Most rules are in place for a good reason. Again, I say there are dumb ones that there is every reason to fight them on, but most of the time it's to keep everyone generally safe and alright.
Yes you got a little more pissed off than you should. I'd be upset with the kid, but I'd be able to talk to the damn teacher and prevent half of your situation.

What the hell are you complaining about, I wish I had welding class in 3rd grade! They wouldn't even let us use safety scissors when I was in 3rd grade :'(
this kids awsome you should tell this other kid who snitched "if your scared go to church"
i will form my foot in your ass!

I wasn't disobeying the rules, I just forgot to put them in on accident. He could have told me he had a problem, or better yet just kept his fucking mouth shut. Why would it bother him at all? How would me not wearing earplugs bother him in the slightest?
I still have half a mind to kick his ass.

Why the hell didn't the teacher just tell you to put plugs in? I mean, for all you know this kid was just looking out for your safety.
I don't understand how not wearing earplugs gets you in trouble. How does that even warrant punishment.
I don't see how looking out for classmates safety is snitching. I'd be pissed at the teacher, not him.
I wouldn't say you got too mad about it. Nothing pisses me off as much as somebody who goes out of their way to get someone else in trouble. Now, if they had walked up to you and reminded you to put the earplugs in, it would have been different. But I don't know why people think they need to police the teacher's rules, especially rules that can't even hurt anybody, even when they are broken.
he should have told you before the teacher
Cootie, your sig is amazing. Did you make it, or did someone else make it for you?

He could have just told me or warned me. But no, he brought the teacher over there and snitched on me knowing it would get me in trouble. The when his actions get me in trouble he acts like he has no idea why I am pissed. If somebody pulled this shit with you wouldn't you tell them to fuck off and be pissed at them.
Fuck this kid.

He should have just told you that you didn't have your earplugs in. He was obviously trying to get you into trouble by directly telling the teacher for something that minor. Some people are like that. I'm glad you restrained from assaulting him though, because that would have been too far.

I remember some kid in my 7th grade science class was so damn annoying, that me and a friend always punched him when our teacher left to a blindspot.
One time though, it was just gravy. I threw something halfway across the room and we had a substitute and he saw it. He asked who did it, everyone in the class knew it was me, but my other friend blamed the kid. Oh man, that was the greatest day ever.

Fuck this kid.
The second half would piss me off as well but I still can't wrap my head around why not wearing ear plugs warrants punishment. Shouldn't the teacher have just said something like, "Hey, put on some ear plugs."?
I mean I could see myself noticing someone not wearing ear plugs and if I'm close to the teacher just leaning over and saying something like, "Yo he's not wearing earplugs you might want to tell him to put some on"
I'm still think blame falls on the teacher here. Did he like, physically walk with the teacher to see what would happen?

I would have told him to leave me be in the first place. When I was doing welding classes I never wore ear plugs. Why would even need them in that class in the first place? As for him choking, I would have helped him if he swore to leave me alone in welding class after that.
Meh, weld his mouth shut next time he trys that.
Why the hell do you need earplugs while welding? not like welding is a loud process.

I wouldn't let a 7 year old hold a fork, let alone anything hot.
He did as he should have. Molten tin doesn't alleviate earaches.

Well on one hand I personally wouldn't have told you off and I would probably do the same thing on the other hand though I probably wouldn't be so angry or spiteful at the kid (personally.)

I'm pretty sure he's making it up
Evidence: He said 'today in 3rd grade' implying he is still in the 3rd grade. I don't know much about US school system, but what I do know is that a 17 year old is highly unlikely to still be in 3rd grade

It was a sarcastic remark implying that lunch detention is a punishment meant for younger students.
