The Protests O.O

I'm sure you know what this is about if not check out the occupy wallstreet protest and the Occupy richmond protests online. Well Google you may have some users. Anyways I have been keeping an eye on these and i have friends going to both of them and apparently these protests are happening all around the world and everyone is always talking about keeping it peaceful but i'm not sure if it is going to stay that way given what has happened recently overseas. Anythoughts? because honestly I think thousands of protests can go wrong in so many ways. But of course somethings got to give on this economy Since its based off of debt.

alright, I see what's going on, they say they're keeping it peaceful. for now. though, I feel that someone will do something to spark more violent protests, possibly even some form of civil war.

Just the people who believe in a new alternative against corporate profit margins undermining the health and well being of the good generation; rallying together in a hope that real new change may rise to help people find a way out of corporate slavery. Etc. Things are sorta fucked. What do we need to do stop the acid rain, toxic waste, animal cruelty, homelessness, poverty, lack of social security and health care. 99% of the people aren't monopoly profiteers, 99% are at the whim and prejudice of the corporate machine. People are in a state of despair, they want change before its too late.

If they initiate an assault, they'll likely be hurt. There is no reason to fear them because they do not have the army's support, which will inevitably interfere if the protests become violent. They may burn and break some things. They can't do anymore.

The protests are utter bullshit if you ask me, I haven't really heard what they exactly want besides "FUCK DA CAPITALIST FAT CATS MAAAAN".

There are many different, conflicting goals among the protesters. SOME want more government, SOME want less.

To say they're all socialists or hippies is ignorant and lazy thinking.

Well as i see it than this is just trying to be pushed off as some type of communism when people are reaching for equality but stuff wont stay peaceful i mean it is kind of human nature to push back when you get pushed and i mean the goverment doesnt mind adding force to get to people and people dont mind :brushing" up against cops to get some attention. Plus i mean i like the idea of being equal and taxing equally since the rich are taxed less than the poor and there is no real middle class anymore your either poor or wealthy and if you poor its extremely difficult to become wealthy in most cases.

Some idiots just cant be happy. If they aren't as rich and powerful as the next guy, somone's gonna bitch. Big woop, you don't live in a mansion, you don't drive a porche, you don't have a portrait of your self hanging above your magnificent fireplace. Ooooh, well I'm so very sorry that while others were out finding a way to get money and get to the place there at, you were smoking pot. Life's not as hard as you think. You work, you get money, you pay bills and taxes and rent. Life goes on. Your 12 year old chevy and small apartment aren't good enough? Well, who's fault was that? Must of been the government's right? Becuase your failing marks in grade school were also a result of captalism. Get over your self. Living in America is the greatest thing you'll ever know.

The few other countries in the world that are worth a damn, like Mexico or England or Japan or any of those places, guess what they all have in common? Some form of Government and society that is very very close to ours. And they are ALL having problems of their own. There is no Eden out there that will solve your problems and be the happiest place ever. Everywhere sucks equal to or far far worse than this place. Go live in China for half a year and see how great it is there. Where only the smart are ever put on pedastals and given government jobs while Tim, who works far harder than Bill, gets the same fucking wage. Trust me sweet heart, love where you live or get the fuck out. You'll only realize what you had until you're paid like dirt somewhere else and realize it's just as bad or a hell of a lot worse.

Similar protest was in my city last weekend as well. It's kinda pathetic, really. The only arguments they can come up with is ''we want more freedom'' and ''stop the corporate rats!!!!1'' .
I mean God, go do something productive instead of bitching.
