Probably wasn't the best picture of Bruce to go with, but anyways.
You made his head a bit fatter than it actually is, which makes the face not look so much like Bruce.

why would i have to go with the best picture of bruce lee though?
The thing that jumps out at me is the way you shaded it... the pencil lines are very apparent and distracting. Try out some other techniques and work on adding more midtones and gradual shades (even though the lighting is drastic on the original, it's not solid black and white). Once you get a better grasp of that, you should redo the pic... would be cool to see the difference after like six months or a year of practice!
Keep at it!! ...and post more stuff if you've got it! :D

oh lurrdy i love bruce lee so much, i mean i have three posters of him in my dorm and even the one you took from reference
you can definatly explore the value a lot more with him, using old photos can be hard if your trying to reference for value and sharpness i know, and thats where a lot of guessing and filling in will go
but dont be afraid to darken the darks and brighten the brights,

I feel that that picture isn't the best choice when trying to get a detailed version of Bruce.
The colour of that picture really hinders some details, and the distance from which it was taken does the same.
Also, Bruce is pulling a face in that pose, so when you tried to get that down, it really doesn't look like him at all in the face.

Jonny and Bruce Lee are on a first name basis due to the spiritual connection shared by all ninja brethren.

Ah, now for a tattoo, your current method of shading actually works! :)
You might want to take a look at some of these Art101 tutorials. Specifically the one about documenting your work. You can have the most amazing drawing in the world, but if the pic you post of it is bad... no one here will ever know!
