Need help with problem in flash...

Hi, I have the latest flash demo from adobe and am attempting to animate something, but whenever I use the brush tool it does... well, just look at the attached picture., its hard to explain. Could someone here tell me how to fix this?

Also, how do I make the line tool thicker? I see no thickness option.

You have a box toggled that turns the strokes colors and see though, That box is circled in red in the pic I've provided. and to make your strokes bigger you need to click the black dot in the area I've circled in green.

Thanks for the reply. No matter what I do to that box it continues to do the outline crap.Even when I go into the layer properties, the "view layer as outlines" box is unchecked

Check your Preview Mode setting.
