Please do not read if you can scout

I have only just posted some pictures to the art portal and shortly after I did some looking into how long it may take to be scouted. I saw in one forum that it took someone a few years before, I just want to know if this is true or not, becuase waitng that long seems rather pointless

Someone will scout you when your pics reach the standards. Instead of waiting aimlessly doing nothing why don't you practice and improve your work? That'll get you scouted faster.

Pretty simple though. If you are good enough and you have appealing, people will scout you. If you aren't good enough, then people won't scout you.

Whoever said that is talking out of their arse.

If you have good art, you'll be snapped up quickly.
If an artist uploads work that isn't too great, however, nobody is going to scout them.

They can wait for a million years, but they'll never get scouted.
That's until they upload works that's a better quality, and makes an (already scouted) artist give them a chance with an art portal invite.

Well I am sorry, I am not good with computers so my art work is hand drawn. I do not need a computer to produce artwork for me. Sure having a system that can mould a picture to your likings is easy, but try drawing by hand, see if you can do REAL art...

First off, a lot of artist in the portal produce non-digital art.
Secondly, don't bash what you don't know. Digital art can be just as difficult as non-digital, and in some aspects, even harder.
But yeah, as long as your work is good enough, you will be snatched up.

Nobody is complaining about your art. What people are trying to tell you is:

The better your art is, the more likely it will be that you get scouted quickly. There is no "waiting time" that you have to go through.

... I think you'll find people who can digital paint can also traditional paint.

Digital painting isn't done by psychic powers, it's all done by hand ...
