That is one terrifying and extremely convincing horror story.

I'll check this out when I have more time on my hands for sure, just so busy right now.
Came by to post this: http://www.supernaturalnstuff.com/
It's a blog my dad just started tonight, I read the first and only (so far) entry and it's pretty interesting - He's talking about werewolves in this one and there's a few mentions of real life events he's read about, some more recent surprisingly.
Anyway, if any of you are interested - I can keep you all updated on his posting in there, something to keep his time occupied. Hope you guys enjoy.
Hello! I'm a skeptic with a keen interest in cryptozoology.
I do think there must be stuff out there, not really convinced by the big name monsters though.
I wanted to show you all this, it isn't a cryptid or anything but it's something that to me looks like it came straight out of lovecraft.
If that can exist than who knows what other fucked up stuff is about?

The ocean is insanity, I hate but love to think about what sort of things can be down in those depths that we haven't even discovered or imagined yet - It's frightening, but also very intriguing... I've never seen a Bobbit Worm, but they definitely are quite creepy... I wouldn't want to be around one of those if I was diving in the ocean or something.
I hope when they unseal Lake Vostok which has been sealed for a VERY long time (before man existed I believe), we find some undiscovered things. You should look in to Lake Vostok if you're interested, I think they've unsealed it or are about to now, after drilling for years on end. It's crazy... I don't know - I think something will be discovered, hopefully a few different deep-sea creatures can be found.

I have a theory that Bigfoot, The Yeti, and The Abominable Snowman are all the same species but all in different areas.I've always suspected that they are the same species.
Yeti is the snowman.
But i'm pretty sure there related.
But there is no proof for the yetis existence, bigfoot has some unclear videos but the yeti has nothing.
The proof he had turned out to be fake.

I was watching QI a British panel show that is all about learning interesting things. Brian Blessed was on and he's a big believer in the yeti and he was saying when he went to Mongolia to film a documentary on it the locals told him about how occasionally they would see large groups of them migrating. To these Mongolians theirs no question on whether it exists, just how to stay out of their way.
I'm not necessarily convinced they exist but I've become a lot more open to it recently, when you think about how the bonobo was only discovered 80 years ago there is room for more great apes to exist.
My dad made a new blog entry which is focusing on the topic of the Patterson Film - Y'know.. The famous Big Foot video that was captures in the 60's.
He makes a few interesting points, just thought I'd let you guys know... We've discussed it a few times in this club and I figure he wouldn't mind hearing some opinions on the subject if you guys have an interest in it all.
I still don't know what to think of the video or existence of the Big Foot personally - So I'm staying out of it.
I'm not entirely sure if this counts, but I did hear every once in awhile that Slenderman was a Cryptid or something like that. And if he really is, I will say that he and Bigfoot ran into eachother, Slenderman would make him look like a total wuss.

Check out my Reddit, dudes.

I watched all of the videos on the map and I have to say I wasn't impressed with any of them. I'm not saying that there is no chance that the yeti (or what ever you want to call it) exists but you have to admit that most of them seem like a guy in furry one piece PJs. The problem with these sorts of things is you'll always get the guys who just want to create a hoax and see if anybody will believe it.

I enjoy reading about the crop circles in the UK that turned out to be guys with planks. Sometimes you have to laugh at what some people can make others believe. I imagine they had a good laugh at the newspapers when they read them the next day.

But remember this thread is a serious discussion about cryptids.
