My class assignment for ELP is to search for a company that, in short terms, fails at advertising. They do it bad, be it effects, writing, they're idiots that make the unintentionally offensive stuff, that stuff. My challenge is for someone to find the worst advertisement they can in...4 hours. My current choice is that Dr. Pepper Ten thing for excluding a large customer group with their wording.

And since I might actually get something if I offer a non-existant reward..you get an internetz cookie? Yeah, it's stale from 2002.

Or an attempt at drawing a comic, but thats doing me a favor. I need the practice..trust me, go with the cookie.

Huh. I post something at least requiring a little thinking, and plenty of opportunity for amusing results, but a thread titled "Wow! I touched a tit!" Actually gets a response at least. You don't see anyone F5 bombin' this thread.

If you don't want to do your homework, why would any of us?

The original post didnt really leave anything for discussion.

Also TVTropes is perfect for examples of this kind of stuff.

Totally relevant. Based off of this.

Since I have my own university work to do... that's all I'm going to put forth.

It maintained that entire populations, which were undisciplined or lacking in intellectual or definite moral principles, were vulnerable to unconscious influence and thus susceptible to want things that they do not need. This was achieved by linking those products and ideas to their unconscious desires.

So do the opposite of that, no beer commercials with lustful women.
