Good Microphone for Quality Vocals Oct. 8th, 2011 @ 06:56 PM Reply

I know this question has been asked a million times before, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I need I microphone, preferably USB, that can record high quality vocals without problems. I'm hoping to make songs and remixes with vocals and maybe get into voice acting, but the only mic I have is a $10 cheap piece of crap. I was looking into a Blue Yeti, but I would like to here more options before making my final decisions. Also, I would prefer it to be around $100.

Forgot to mention... It's a little more than the price you named, but I think you can get just the mic (not the bundle pack) for around $100

You're right!

but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Well, that seems like a pretty good reason to not use the search function.

In any case... I personally use a Shure SM58 and it gets the job done, it should also be more or less around your price range.
I also hear the SM57 is a pretty good deal as well, never used it myself though.

I did at first, but I wanted to make sure nothing new popped on the market. Which can happen.

I'll check in to that Shure SM58, it looks like it'd get the job done. Thanks.

Honestly I have a 15 dollar logitech mic that I use to record everything and the audio is clean.
