I am rather confused by your sign-up date and post count mixed with the topic.
Very....rather....confused.

Newgrounds sign-up dates, and posts counts to not relate to the WHOLEinternet.
If someone just signed up today doesn't mean they are new to the internet. There is more sites then newgrounds.com

It just confuses me that he came here of all places to do that when he's still even a level one. So he obviously didn't vote on flash and such.
Well.
Shit.
I've been on the internet since one had to wait forever for an image to even load on Prodigy on Windows 3.11, back when my fucking resolution was 640x480 and I had a hard drive that was measured in megabytes.
The internet has never been "good"

And we used to do it just to watch dancing hamsters, stickdeath.com, play slime ball or download porn jpgs onto our 3 1/2 inch floppy discs.
Now, with the speed and the silence, the internet is just taken for granted.

The internet was never good, not as long as there's been downloadable porn.

What's wrong with the internet? It was good and still is good. I think you're just feeling a little bit of nostalgia

True. That was the good thing about dial-up. It made it all worth-while.
Remember when things like youtube on the internet were new? Now, it's full of people complaining when even the tiniest things change. Damn that annoys me, i wish the old internet was back again.
I miss ... Around 2002-2004 or maybe even 2002-2007, when I still felt like there was a lot of new shit to find out. At this point I feel I've done just about everything, so many different games, movies, tons and tons and tons of gore, porn, from shitty messengers to good messengers, from shitty emails to good emails, and so on.
Yeah, I'm only nearing 20 but I've used computers since I was in kindergarten. I used to watch TV on my uncle's computer, it had a button where you could switch a single frame from the show you're watching into MSPaint. He had all these different joysticks and games, a lot of fun stuff. But now I think most people view joysticks as 'vintage,' even steering wheels for racing games; seems most people would rather play games with either a controller or keyboard and mouse. Helicopters are usually flown with control sticks that look very similar to joysticks, so it really put you into a flight feel, or just about any pilot feel; even for robot games.
Quake 3 Arena, Wing Commander 3, Duke Nukem 3D, and Doom. Before I got into the internet, I was into these games. The expanding world of the internet just gave me more reason to sit on my ass. And I feel 2002 was when it started, 2004 was when it hit its peak, and 2007 was when it lost its polish or special joy. For me personally, at least.
