Ok, so why does Lorena Bobbitt get to cut off her husband's penis while he's sleeping, then jump in her car, drive off in the middle of the night and throw the severed penis out the window into a field, and then she doesn't even go to jail!? - 45 days in a psychiatric hospital.. that's it! Then, she gets invited on to talk shows like Oprah and CBS News and profiteers off of all her fame by selling her autobiography!!

I'm pretty sure that if a man cut something off of a woman in a similar scenario he'd be going to jail for many years. What is this double standard in our society?
