This is a contest a user-made contest where the creator of the contest decided to make it all dedicated to himself - because he's got an ego the size of fucking Mexico and the need to fill it up too. I'm pretty sure there will be no frontpage feature for this. I don't even know how the hell he managed to drop this with NG-awards.
If you ask me, this contest is one of the most fubar things I've seen on this site. Jesus-titty-fucking-christ...

dude it's still a halloween contest - don't get all bend out of shape. If you wanna make just a halloween entry that's fine - only difference here is I will be doing the sweep judging myself. There will still be other judges.

Essentially not much is different. It's not really even a "feed chron's ego" contest - it's just a "make me happy" contest - and isn't that what EVERY NAC basically is?

Making a contest is (should be) fun, and the creator(s) of such will always have to have some kind of personal gain or else it wouldn't be done - but here you're virtually admitting that you see every contest you've made as a kind of contribution to your self...

I'm still flabbergasted by this stunt. I mean, it's one thing if you had derped a contest juuust for yourself, but now you're using NG-awards to feed your ego.
Frankly, if you - or anyone else - had made this (or a similar) contest on your own without having NG-funds/backup, then my vote would be to lock it up and direct you to your user-page. Because this have NO other gain for the community other than the awards.

IMO this is an absolute piss in the face in everyone who belives in the community.

So, yea... you basically just admitted that every previous NAC has been biased toward your personal preference. Personally, I would feel quite insulted if I had won a previous contest and found out *now* that it was influenced by a biased judge.

Surely I'm not the only person who would rather see Chronamut either:
a) abstain from voting in or in any way influencing the judging in future contests, or;
b) replaced with someone who can judge more objectively

And until one of the above happens, I personally will not be entering any future NAC's.

look you guys are seeing this wrong - I simply meant that by making me happy that you are making quality submissions that contribute to newgrounds, as the entire point of these contests weren't to feed my ego, but to contribute to the betterment of the audio portal and to have users get to know each other better - NOT that I profit off the awards in some way - sheesh way to hop on some sort of hate bandwagon.

You guys see to forget that these contests take a lot of preperation - I have never taken part solely in the sweeping process until this month, and other judges are always involved in the final judging process.

So really, what are you guys upset about?
