The only bad part about it was the useless love interest for Sam.
The hate for transformers is mostly from fans of the 80's transformer fans, and because its a MB film. And all his films are "garbage" and only appeal to mindless douche bags.
I can understand the hate for transformers 2 but 1 and 3 don't deserve it.

The only bad part about Transformers 3 were the humans.
Unfortunately they take up the majority of the film.
It was absolute rubbish. Same with the first and second. The first one wasn't too bad, but it juat wasn't Transformers. We all know the second one is horrible, with more idiotic jokes, horrible story/dialogue, and more butchering of characters from the show.
The third looked better, but it just gets worse and worse the more you think about it. There were an incredible amount of plot holes, the jokes were even worse, the action sequences were crap, and the entire first half of the film was a pretty much a romantic comedy. That's just naming a few things I disliked about it.
I was watching the first and second of Transformers very early this morning (2:30). Unfortunately, I felt too tired to continue to the third, otherwise I would have. I enjoy them all equally.
I just watched that three days ago and I felt physically ill from the acting in the beginning. I felt like walking out of the room, but I gave it a try. If you ignore all of the acting, and only pay attention to the action scenes, it is bearable.
It's actually a really good movie. MUCH better than Transformers 2, that's for sure.

My only problem with the new Transformers movies is that they show humans a lot more than they should. It's like somewhere along the line someone thought "They like the plot, not the giant fucking robots fighting each other" and it got all mixed up.
Hint: We like the giant robots fighting each other.

I'm straight, I have both nuts, and I am not an "emo". What the fuck do you think you are doing. Try and prove to me that it is a good movie...I dare you!
It is a series of movies primarily loved for it's source material and special effects as opposed to it's plot or endearing characters.
Some scenes the animation is moving too fast and you can't tell what's going on.
Sometimes the movie tries to be funny, and it ends up being terribly awkward.
Most often the plot is ludicrous and full of plot holes.
In short, I don't hate the movies, but I certainly don't like them either.

I hate the Transformers movies because they spend too much time jerking off that shitty plot and love interest and not nearly enough time BLOWING SHIT UP with their motherfucking ROBOTS.
It was best when they realised that is is a MICHEAL BAY film, not something with any actual skill or talent, and so they resorted to KILLING THINGS. But for te most part they didn't.
I estimate that I enjoyed maybe 20 minutes of each movie. Haven't seen the third.
Funny, I just watched it yesterday.
I don't quite understand the hate for the films.
They're loud, they're obnoxious, they're filled to the brim with annoying characters and maybe one or two cool ones. That's all Michael Bay's ever directed, and it fits Transformers to a T. You'd think the fans would be thrilled.
Life is a performance, and the world is full of critics. Give it your all like it's your last show.

Transformers is stupid because it's popular. If you want a real action thriller you should watch Donnie Darko or Edward ScissorHands.
It really was just more of the same. It was like watching a slightly better version of Transformers 2.
