I don't really understand their motive either, they want to RP Battle? Or have weird human animal hybrid sex? It just seems, ughh. I think bronies have a better motive than these furries.

Do you guys really think that everyone with a fetish for it, no matter how mild, is a furry? Or do you just hate the people who are extreme about it and have fursonas/fursuits/whatever and see it as a religion? We know that not all of you like to dress as animals and fuck. We know that there are weirder fetishes out there, but you need to remember, not everyone's gonna like you because you flaunt your fetish around like it's something people wanna know.
It would be different if you stayed in Fur-Affinity and those other furry sites, but when you come to sites like Newgrounds and have your username stating that you're a furry, or you put that ever so popular "proud to be a furry" badge somewhere on your userpage, you might as well also put the words "Hey world, flame me!" somewhere else.
If you're not the type of furry I've just described, you've also gotta remember that there will always be people who believe in these stereotypes. Don't bother trying to prove them wrong, because you'll just create some other stereotype that furries are oversensitive or something.

Just stop trying to justify your unusual fetish, and stop treating it like a lifestyle, and maybe you'll get less people bashing it.

Every individual is different. They always are. Even if they label themselves the same ways, they can never truly interpret something the same as anyone else. Additionally, people have and always will identify themselves in a way that embarrasses or offends someone else who identifies themselves the same way. In this way, some furries will think of the furry fandom as an interest, some will think of it as a lifestyle but not really make a lifestyle out of it, and some will sincerely integrate it into their lives in a manner that helps them develop individuality.

The furry fandom, just like anything else, has different motives behind it and different agendas, as do the people behind each of those agendas.

I dont think you have described anyone in this thread. I put Fox in my username for different reasons (If you like MTB or MX you would realize that "FOX" is one of the biggest brands in the industry. I dont treat it as a lifestyle, and if you bothered to look, my page (news) is almost all dedicated to music (bout 75% or so). 1) Furries are NOT in any way connected to Zoophilia
2) Although not all furries are fursuiters, there will always be a large portion of them that are and will have sex. Who gives a fuck, does it effect you?
3) The vast majority of people who hate on furries, have no idea what they are, as they have not been exposed to much content from them. They only know about them by the general stereotypical image of them, and therefore their hate and flame comes from an inherited source of a vicious cycle because people on the internet apparently can't comprehend things correctly.

I love animals, in a normal way. I'm interested in them and like learning about them and caring for them, I plan on going to college for wildlife biology/ecology. Furries put animal skin on a human form, probably to justify being attracted to it or some shit. I don't think anyone who's a furry, wears a fursuit, has a fursona etc, has any fucking respect for animals. Taking it's form, dieing it rainbow colors, and sexualizing it. That's basically what it is. Nothing about the furry "lifestyle" shows any true love or appreciation for animals or humans, just creating a sick hybrid for people who apparently aren't comfortable with either. Tons of native cultures dressed as animals to worship or thank them, creating dances or something that resembled how the animal acted. Compare that to extreme furries, which is basically like skinning an animal, dying it an unnatural color, and fucking in it. (yes I know they don't use real animal skin, but I was comparing it)
