I see what you mean and I hope that the way the system is set up allows for to NOT be another Stickam. First off, all users need some sort of cam and they have to be friends with whoever is holding the Hangout. Wade has been extremely open about letting new people into the hangouts and his profile, so it seems to be working on that front. And while it's true that inside jokes and stories are forming, I believe that the community is extremely open to new members and explaining these jokes. I have not been to a single Hangout yet where the hostility to new people is really high. I can't say the same for Stickam. I believe that your fears are legit, but as of this moment, I don't see it really being another Stickam. I'd say it's becoming another Facebook before I'd say it's becoming another Stickam.
