It's been a number of days since i posted here. Just wanted to say that i had a nice holiday. I got some money and other junk. I've been visiting my family all over the place. That's why i haven't been posting. Either way... I hope everyone is doing well!

I got bored and decided to see what all the hype was about. So I watched the pilot.

It was okay I guess.

Got bored again and decided, what the hell, I'll watch some random episode in the middle of the series.

And I realized that this is a good kids show. Not to my tastes, but that was okay because I wasnt the target audience. But it did make me feel good about the things on TV that our kids get exposed to.

I'd have no problem letting my kid watch this show.

Was watching X-Play the other day, and when they checked the X-Play Inbox, the first one they read was asking if they watch MLP: FIM.

A Wal-Mart and the last few times I went they had none there. Saw it there and decided to get it. Probably is, wouldn't mind getting the McDonald MLP figures either. Mostly because they look nice.

That's pretty cool. Every time I've gone to Wal-Mart in the last months, I've checked the bakery section for things like those, but I've never seen a pony cake. If I ever did though, I would get it.

That was pretty much my reaction to this whole pony thing. It's just a fun to watch, and it really teaches some important lessons about friends and shit. I think I may have learnt a thing or two watching this show.

I still don't understand why it's achieved a cult following this big, though. I don't think the die-hard fans even know what they want from the next episodes now.
