Watched the new episode. I spent the entire night sleeping on the couch with an alarm going every half an hour so I'd be able to get up in time. Didn't even know about the leak until a few hours ago!

I liked it. As per course, Pinkie was hilarious, although other than that not much stood out to me. Don't get me wrong, it sure as hell wasn't bad, but I don't think this one will be jumping to my mind when I think of my favorites. Not bad, not great, but neutral, while leaning a bit towards the great side.

I also reviewed it. I thought it was a terrific showcase of everything I love about Rainbow Dash's character. She didn't really come off as arrogant or annoying IMO, in fact she was quite the opposite for the purpose of the story and message. She was relatable and brave in the face of rejection, and was even ready to give up on her life's dream just to do what's right. I loved that about the episode.

Also, Tails has earned 20 brownie points for referencing Spider-Man 2.

The new episode was good, but not the best in the season . It still was a great RD episode.

Considering the fact that MLP had elements of fantasy and mythology (a major component of G4) as early as G1, and Barbie never had anything of the sort, I don't really see Barbie producing a "good gen" the way MLP did.

She's in the comic book and as far as I know, they are still making toys of her and calling her "Derpy". I think that after the derpocalyspe, they would rather avoid direct exposure of her in the show.

However, I do think she will return sometime, hopefully this season.

Derpy is still in the theme song I think. Don't know if that counts though.
