also they temp for the weed to grow in various on the type like some kush need to be grown at 36-40 degrees Celsius while more shitty weed grows at roughly room temp. so the name is helpfull for seeds as well so you know the temp to grow at.

again this is why they have names for each type of weed and to be honest for alot of pot heads the smell of the weed can tell you just how good it is and what it is and its not random weed what do you think this grows just anywhere anybody can find it just randomly no you go through a prossces in order to grow it and every grown plant that doesn't look the same as every other plant that has been named than that plant gets a name get it?

lol funny how the guys with the weed names are usually completely wrong whenever they say anything. there are a lot of different types of weed, here are a few pointers

all weed falls into one of two categories, sativa and indica. the former has higher THC concentration, and produces a stronger "head" high. the latter is more of a "body" high but both affect people differently so reasons for preference can vary

as weed has been cultivated for thousands of years across many continents, its THC content, burn rate, density, etc all vary depending on where its grown, if it's indoors or out, the pH balance of the soil, etc. Kush originates from the Hindu Kush mountains found in southwest Asia, true kush is wildly different from anything found in the US or UK

weed has been selectively "bred" even longer than canines. even the US government has researched and developed its own strains of cannabis.

any dealer worth his rep can differentiate between kush, sour, white widow, etc. don't brag about your knowledge of weed if youre some suburban kid who smokes once a week

obviously people buy based on 'density', a .9 that looks like a .4 is high grade. but a good dealer does not let most of his clients know the weight. it's a given that you want denser nugs but that isn't what this thread is asking. no one goes around asking for "dense weed" lol

also people talking about orange hairs n shit: don't rely on the color, the only solid visible judge of THC content is the trichomes. it's not hard to purposely change the color more purplish or orange during the growth stages

I've probably smoked more kush, than any other type of weed, but I don't know if it is my favorite. Indica is probably my favorite kind of bud, it gives more of an "aware" kind of high, while you still feel some intense euphoria. Indica still makes you feel really relaxed, but without the tired feeling kush can give you. Still, the strongest "weed" I've ever had goes to Cloud 9. I literally refused to drive anywhere for 30 minutes after smoking just 1 and a half bowls of this stuff. You guys should read this shit. If you do decide to get this stuff, I'm warning you, do not do more than a bowl.

Lately I've been mostly hitting the Dj shortz Blueberry, BC sweet tooth, super silver haze (which I'm on currently), and a house strain we call Strawberry Cough, which is a sativa which like the name implies tastes like strawberries.
