sore throat?

I woke up this moring, and felt a big pain in my throat and chest. It hurt whenever I ate/drank something, it hurt when I yawned, it hurt to breathe deeply, and it hurt to talk a bit.

And sometimes, the pain in my neck would feel as if someone were choking me, because my throat or something would get tighter.

What's going on, and how do I treat this?

Gargle salt water I guess, or get a massage.
