Pencil Tool (bug?) In Flash Cs3

Alright lately I've gotten really sick of the brush tool being a peice of shit so I decided too try out the pencil tool.
BUT, when I use the pencil tool It doesn't show me what my drawing looks like until I let off of the pen.
SO If you get what I'm saying you would realize how god damn annoying this is.
Anyone know whats going on?

Nope... it shows up (as I draw) for me. Have you tried restarting? Are you inside a symbol, drawing or grouped object? Sometimes that can cause weirdness (specially if it's skewed, scaled or flipped).

I use CS3 so I can probably help you out.
I doubt it's a Glitch, It's more probable that the pencil mode is set to 'straighten'
If you want the line to follow exactly where you draw, click on the icon right at the bottom of the Tools bar, and set it to 'ink'.

I actually have it set too ink. The weirdest part is it doesn't work but when I change settings it works for ONE stroke before reverting back too the bug also when I hit a keyboard button it shows what I have drawn so far but then when I continue the stroke it goes back to the blank looking preview.

That is pretty wierd. Well, I'm stumped.
You could try playing with the smoothing, but it's starting to sound more like a glitch.
