Machinima > Yogscast

My friend keep on saying that Yogscast is the best youtube channel around. But I beg a differ.
Machinima is by the comunity and major directors and make videos on tones of games. They brought you Arby 'n the Chief, Inside Gaming and loads of more machinima classics.

Yogscast on the otherhand only consists of three nerds. An aspie, some dedicated gamer and a hot girl. Yeah, their stuff is good but not "OMGZ THEY ARE TEH BEST CHANNEL IN YOUTUBE HISTORY!". Machinima was around way longer and yogscast is 70% minecraft anyway. Their voices are very patriotic and go "AHHHHH LETS GOOO FOO AN ADVENTUUUU!!!111" like some stereotypical britfag.

To cover my point, Yogscast is a small group of people with the same gameplay with unprofessional editing. Machinima and a large community where all the best stuff is featured with a variety of good productions.

Machinima > Yogscast.

Machinima have variety. they include a MASSIVE list of different games they based their videos on.

Machinima is like a network full of different youtube users, videos, and styles, whereas the Yogscast is a youtube channel made by three people that do let's plays. They're two completely different channels, and are pretty much impossible to compare.

Now, you could compare the Yogscast to another let's player, but not really an entire network of sponsored videos.

the difference is that with machinima you have to wade through a pile of shit to find a gem but with the yogscast there's a whole pile of gems. the yogscast have the same formula for each video, two legitimately funny guys playing through games, whilst machinima is just a mash up of games trailers and fag***try

Pretty much hit the nail on the head there.

I do like the "2 best friends play" series that machinima do. That and "Freeman's Mind" are about the only half decent videos they upload.

When I see yogscast. I think of it as good, but not the best. UberHaxorNova did some pretty funny videos like "WOOL" and "GOLDEN SWORD" and "REPAIR" where he rages out massively. But I swear there are better channels than yogscast though.

When I see Yogscast, I see two annoying Brits who deliberately act stupid to garnish views. I've lost count of all the times Lewis looks at an enemy for a full second before turning around to get attacked. Then he turns around again and screams and acts surprised. That Simon fellow is just an ass who can't think up any good material, since he's being spoonfed with written material by the other members of his little Minecraft cast.

Hanah gets no love because by herself she's a normal human being.

Machinima sucks as well, but at least BenBuja is on there to brighten my day.

Never saw Yogscast, might check it out now. There's only a few shows I watch on Machinima regularly; I barely watch anything other than those. I need something different.

There is a lot of flare in Machinima. A lot of the directors are genuinely interested in what they are doing and love to be a part of their work and community from making good fun with the smallest things like playing H.O.R.S.E, to funding the bigger more inquisitive things like Arby and the Chief, created by a small fan of the community, created by a boy.

Machinima is a COMPANY with a large array of directors, creators and people they sponsor.

Yogscast is a GROUP consisting of about three people.

Yes, Yogscast isn't the best thing is sliced bread, but I'm not sure if you're registering the difference between a company, that employs and sponsors, and a small group already made and does all their material.

Machinima had it's moments, but kinda left when they stopped doing Sanity Not Included. I only watch it for Two Best Friends Play, but now it's just too scripted.

Heh yeah I remember I met the creatures once we tried to film a rage video called "building" for minecraft but me and gassy kept fucking it up heh...but anyway no arguments between the yogscast and machinima both of them are becoming less than a pile of gems and more like a pile of shit...all of them

I sued to dislike Machinima, but I think Sanity Not Included is pretty good and Two best Friends Play is hilarious.
