Which one do you think is better?

Being a kid without worrying about jobs and paying bills, yet forced to attend school and do what your told to all day

or

an adult who can do whatever the fuck they want, but they have to worry about income ( unless your dad is a millionaire ) and jobs and shit.

Kid any day.

When you become an adult, you will realize this.

If you got lame parents, you'll think otherwise.

Earlier, my mom said breakfast was ready, and I replied ''i know''.

And then she continued the crusade of having a ''smart mouth'' (when I was being completely casual ) because she wants to be treated like a queen in my house.

Anyone who says otherwise is either 12 years old or lieing through their arse.

I rather be an adult. Sure I have to pay bills and work and all that. But I like to make my own decisions and do what is right for me.

You might think otherwise when you don't learn jack shit in school nowadays, and your parents might be dumber then you.

Being a grown up sucks! Now I have to get a job. I want to be 8 years old again and spend my days mindlessly playing, watching tv and eating candy.

I get saturday morning cartoons for life, I don't have to worry about a difficult education because, as you say, it doesn't matter, my parents buy all my food for me, my social life is fine because my friends haven't all become douchebags yet, video games are still fun, films are still exciting and staying up past 11pm is a thrilling adventure instead of a depressing realization.

Also, my parents are pretty fucking great.

Being a kid is like being part of the society in the Giver. You don't have to worry about anything, but you don't have any freedom. I THINK I'd rather be an adult, but that's just because my parents don't really let me dress and act how I want.

depends on the parents and/or the job...
in general, I prefer being a child though. I'm not good with responsibility.

I miss my childhood.

i was very anti-social and uneasy, but at least i had friends as a kid.
kids kind of looked up to me (because i made myself stand out) and they occasionally talked to me out of curiosity, it felt good to be admired (i know, vein) but i should have known it wouldn't last, i grew up and lost that unique persona.
now im just a pathetic loner, too tired to get out of bed and too weak to face the day.
everyone knows im fucked up and wont even bother giving me a second chance.
im easy to push over because i dont want to cause trouble, if someone says im in their seat ill fucking stand up and sit somewhere else by myself (this is usually my only option, everyone else is seated happily)
sure being a teenager has its advantages, less restrictions and more freedom to roam, but ive never liked freedom.
tell me to go to school and fuck around with some friends, great that sounds simple and like something i can do.
tell me to go outside, find some kids and befriend them? i cant do that, i didn't grow up to be a social creature, just a quite beast who wont complain and just live his life day by day.

so yeah id love to be a child again :)

Adult.

I don't miss school one bit. Everyone that says school days are the best days of your life are lying to you, completely.

To those of you that are still in school and can't wait to get out: It gets MUCH better once you've left.

Only adults have been both, which disqualifies underaged people from a valid opinion.

I'm 24.

Then I will believe that. The only way to truly see this is to actually become an adult, I think, and it may depend on what type of childhood/school you had.
