So yesterday a couple buddies were gonna whip to my base on their pocket bikes like they normally do. We knew this guy on my street had just refilled his fridge and it was time for another booze run. So we were gonna spend the night drinking free liquor and burning down the lines. I called them at around 8 wondering why they still hadn't shown up. My cell has been pooched lately so I rely on the house phone to make my calls. I don't receive texts either, and I basically cannot get a radio signal. Anyways, they told me this kid was having a party near my buddies house and we were gonna go in and rob the place. Unfortunately I don't own a vehicle, and the "late" bus routes have recently been cancelled in my neighborhood. I told them I probably couldn't make it, they said they would ask around for a ride. It ended up being an early night for me. I called one of my friends at noon and as soon as he answered he started filling me in on what happened.
They showed up at about 9:30 and the kids house was already at maximum capacity. There were people everywhere in the house, to the point you were stepping on someones shoe in every hallway. The kid was in his room crying at that point, supposedly because he couldn't get the party to stop. Long story short, by the end of the night there were reportedly over 100 people packed in the guy's semi-seperate 2 story townhouse. SOMEONE BROUGHT A KEG, and there were people lining up on the lawn with the door completely ajar, teenagers filling the entryway and hallway. After the party escalated completely out of control it didn't take long for 3 cruisers to pull up and bust it. Both my boys are completely pissed at this point and my fat friend Matt is in the backyard throwing people over the fence who were too tanked to make the hop themselves. A cop who had previously spoke with my friend in the front yard like a hard ass comes and rips the guy he was holding out of his arms and slams him against the fence. He starts yelling at the kid he was throwing and doesn't tell my buddy shit. It took them a while to clear out the house, and both my close friends got off by getting the kid to say they were sleeping over.
The kid pees his pants in front of a few people and the officer who I think was questioning him started laughing hysterically when he noticed. I wish I knew more, I'll find out this evening. At this point in the call we were both laughing too hard to form coherant sentences.
My other friend who we'll call Dick had brought a quarter-pound of ganja in a knapsack and was caught at the party with it. He wasn't sure how much there was left, because he had been slanging all night. But there have been rumors since saying there was still over 3 zips. Dick was one of the last to leave and he was wheeled away IN A COP CAR. Listen to this part, because this seems kind of suspicious.
The pigs took all of Dick's ganja, his scale and 200 dollars. There were no charges laid. He went home later that night, and they didn't even bring him to the station.
I love this city, man. And I really regret not taking a taxi cab to this party.
