[Recruiting] blender open movie project: The Uninvited

[OP on newgrounds]
Hello grounders,
I am currently producing a Halo: Reach machinima, and need your music! If we like your music, we'll keep coming back, and you'll keep getting famous. When this project begins generating revenue, you'll receive payment for the initial commercial use license (whose amount is to be determined).

We are currently looking for a feature track to be used in our music video pilot. The pilot will consist of a squad of marines being overwhelmed by zombies. The music must be "last stand" and fit the mood of a loosing team putting up all they've got. preferred genres: rock, metal, grunge

We are also looking for a re-occurring opener that will play at the beginning of each episode, with the machinima's title at the top. this track is harder to explain. scroll down to "anger management" on this page for a good idea of what we are looking for.

If you think you've got the perfect track, or the perfect skills, drop me a PM, or post in this thread. We look forward to hearing from you!

So about a month ago, this guy whom I had never talked to, approaches me on xbox live and asks me if I would like to help him with this halo machinima he had been mulling around for a while. I had the equipment to do it so I happily agreed and we started talking about the story ideas he had. About an hour later I had at least 80% of the work load in my court and began placing concrete story ideas on paper and building awesome forge maps. We recruited some close friends as actors and voice actors and began placing characters into our existing storyline.

Fast forward one month and tensions rose between our actors and us, we didn't plan it well, we weren't making sufficient progress, and soon actors began to leave the group. So now, our team in dismay, we (me and the other guy) have decided to place our chips on the table, and move our story into a blender open movie project.

Now, the story is still in its infancy as are we, but growing fast. So I am posting this here to make some noise about it and share some of the story. It would be great if someone would collaborate with me on the story first, before we start casting anyone else. If you're interested please say so.

Now some story. The main plot revolves around a secret government experiment on an alien artifact, that involves splicing genes. the experiment seams to go well and the human subject matures with psychic/cognitive abilities never seen before. His ability to logically solve complex mathematics, chemistry, and science are simply astounding. But as the experiments go on, the alien genome develops a will of its own, and evolves to a parasitic state, overwhelming his host, and his confinement. He is, the alpha.

In marches prospect autumn, a strike team of select soldiers out of boot camp, specially trained in the arts of eliminating a single high value target. Originally designed as a backup plan should a dictator rise within the planet's government, but now set to the task of eliminating the alpha.

Fast forward 10 years, and the planet Duodecimus is in utter chaos. The human population now only makes up 25% of the planets populous, and is ever dwindling as this new intelligent race overwhelms us. Pockets of humanity have holed up in buildings and cities, anything easily defendable against the infection.

One group of civilians in particular are holding out in a city named for it's strong military presence, New Alamo.

Unfortunateley while writing this to post here, the main director has dropped out of the project, leaving me as the sole director for this project. At the moment we need story writers and concept artists the most, but will accept anyone willing to hop on board and lend a hand.
