I've watched the vast majority of brotherhood, and while I do like it more than I thought I would, I still infinitely prefer the 2003 series.

furthermore, I thought Envy's original form in the 2003 series was really, really kool. it also suited his name.
also, the fact that the homunculus were created by different humans will to bring back their loved ones and then see the perversion of them appear was really kool. that doesn't seem to be the case in brotherhood.
