Funnyjunk Is Ruining Ng For Me

FJ takes up far more of my time than NG nowadays.
It interferes with my ability to keep up with other websites, as well as keep up with my actual life.
No thought goes into anything that is said, nothing is considered funny unless it is a meme or has meme potential. If you dare to have a thought on that website then you are punished by vicious red thumbs and evil trolls politely asking you to leave.

I think I should thank god that I never figured 4chan out or else I would be even more disenchanted with the internet...

hahaha... me too. That place is just awful. NG isn't really a fantastic place either, but at least we have rules here... Rules keep people in order. We also have a handful of decent users. Thats 2 for us and 0 for 4chan.

Funnyjunk does have a lot more variety and it makes me laugh more so than new grounds. I've been here for some 7 years and I still come because of nostalgia and old habits.Its the community here that I also really enjoy I guess.

Funnyjunk is so old, and has changed hardly at all compared to other websites like Newgrounds. Goddamn, I remember that site being like this big taboo, this place where you weren't supposed to go back when I was 9 years old or so, and you closed out of it every time your teacher or parent walked in to see what you were doing.

Also maybe I'm remembering this wrong, but didn't they used to have RealPlayer as their streaming client? I mean, what the fuck, that was the worst shit ever, even back in the early 2000s when all streaming clients were shit. Makes you appreciate YouTube when you consider what we had before it.
