Why do I suck so bad?

I mean...besides animating, I think my story telling sucks-

I'm gonna do a totally different thing focusing on like...just random animated shorts within the context of reoccurring characters and "plot"

The funny thing is...i'm not funny....I'm dark and moody and emo except for the being emo because I am too old for that now....

I can't make ppl laugh to save my life....

How do I stop sucking so bad?

Just take some popular thing like movies or video games and then try to find something that is stupid in it or doesn't make sense and then make an animation about it.

If you have absolutely no ideas you could go to the writing forum and just ask someone to write you a funny script or something.

Just be yourself, bud. Not everybody is funny. At least, not in the same way other people are funny. We can't all make girlchan shit.

I would say I have the same issue as you. I want to make funnier stuff, but I am a lot more serious inside most of the time and it tends to come out in my work when I don't want it to.

I'd say the best works are the ones that are the most honest. Just find the best, strongest part of yourself and make animations with it!
