I'm three classes in on my final six classes for "3D Game Animation & Art" certificate program.
3D Animation 1 - I'm currently storyboarding what will become my final...it's mighty ambitious, and it would seem that I'll be spending a lot of time in the lab working on it.
3D Modeling & Rendering 2 - Same professor and classroom as the last course. Our midterm is to model and texture two character heads, our final to complete their bodies. I'm modeling a Necron Lord and a Caveman.
After Effects - I gotta make some sort of awards show clip with animated text and graphics. Shouldn't be too hard, though the program itself is still daunting and intimidating with complexity. I never thought I'd say this, but I understand Maya with greater depth than I do After Effects.
This school has been swamping my time, but I've learned sooo much. I'm grateful, and only a little stressed at the moment...After Effects is slipping away from me, so I guess I need to spend more time on it. I suppose 3D Model and Render 2 is easier so far, because I am BOSSING this Necron Lord head very well so far...now if only I could learn UV Mapping.
