Contest

Not to nag, but about the writing contest, but back in April it was said that it'd be approximately two months before the judges would be able to look at the entries. It's September now, 5 months later, and we haven't heard a word about it. Did this thing just crash and burn or what?

Which contest are you referring to exactly? It would help if you could link to it. If anything the results could have been announced and you may have just missed the announcement thread.

I'm sure if you PM Coop, he'll be more than likely to shoot you a message back om the status of the contest. Most likely some judges got caught up with IRL stuff, which does happen sometimes. People do have lives outside the internet you know.

Now, here's a quick pointer for the OP - you could have bumped the old conversation thread about it.

I've had massive IRL problems and they have lasted most of the year, so things are progressing a lot slower than I'd have hoped. I am still trying to get back on track, but when I'm looking for a job, trying to get things sorted financially and do a few tasks for the cricket club as well, I have little free time and as I'm sure you'll appreciate, like Brian said, we all have lives outside the internet.

I will get this sorted. I just have no time scale at the moment.
