Back to the subject, why can't most girls just like you and go on dates with you and have a good time instead of always pushing to a relationship. I haven't had a girlfriend since Christmas and I want it that way. But I have been on dates and flirt with girls and I do explain to them that I really am not looking for a girl to be in a relationship with.

Has anybody noticed that most girls and some guys can't just have fun and always want to date/marry/perform cellular fusion... ect?

That is false, 99% of people on this planet have had a girl interested in them. I am not mad that I have had a few girls like me. The problem is that they keep pushing to get into something serious when I tell them I don't want anything serious. And it gets old when they are constantly trying or pushing for something more. I have spoken to girls that are friends of mine and they did say that most girls just want to be your "girlfriend".

"Girlfriends" have caused me more trouble than they are worth. I will go for something serious when I am at a point in my life when I am ready for something serious. Probably when I am within a few years of finishing my college degree.

Nope, I tell them from day one when I get "they like me" vibes that I don't want a girlfriend. It isn't about commitment issues it is about emotional immaturity at this age. Nearly every day I hear some girl crying or near tears because of boyfriend issues or some guy pissed off and wanting to fight someone over his girlfriend.

That stuff isn't healthy. I think the title of "girlfriend and boyfriend" makes people think they are a unit instead of their own person and at this age it leads to dependency issues which causes too much stress. People get way to involved in high school romances formed at an age where they very rarely go anywhere instead of straight into the ground in a cloud of fire.
