I really enjoy Chrono Trigger so I thought I'd do some fan art. But, I'm moving on now and doing something entirely different. I'd like to know what you guys think so far. This is in the early stages.

I like your drawings. They're so action packed and full of life!

It's kind of unclear what's going on with his shirt in this one... I would recommend grabbing yourself a reference of a shirt to see the way it folds and where the light and shadows fall.

hey thanks for that! Ya, it's not the greatest shirt I've done. But, I'm definitely going to try to become a better painter. I think it adds more life to the drawings than my comic book coloring style.

Ok, this is a huge undertaking for me. I hate painting. HATE...but I love the results. Here's where I'm at so far.

Thanks for the comment. Man, it takes me so long when I'm painting these pictures. This is as far as I can go with this one. Not liking how it's turning out.

Woops wrong picture. Here's how far I got.

Shadows seems very inconsistent and don't appear to have a light source except for the dreaded pillow shading. Let's not do that in the future. Don't do pillow-shading.

All the same, I'd like to see some actual finished artwork. Chop-chop, get to it.

I just used the brush on photoshop to pain this. It's quite simple actually, and I wish someone would have taught me before. You just mess with the opacity levels until you get a nice smooth look. Oh, here's some art I did.

no no no my friend...I got A LOT more inking hehehe. I'm sick of rushing with my art. I'm finally going to spend a decent amount of time on this project. I'll keep everyone updated if there's interest...and even if there isn't hahahahaha. Thanks for the comment tho!

You should totally listen to this guy, he's a brilliant artist and he colors stuff all the time and he is like pro at it. Seriously, if you're not convinced have a look at his art, he definitely knows what he's talking about.
