Stretch. A lot. Do it after you run or whatever you're that's causing you to be sore. It won't totally stop you from becoming sore but it shouldn't be too bad the next day. You could also take in more protein to help your muscles out. Eventually you'll become sore less and less as you get more used to being really active. Just push through it for a while.

uhhhh what are you talkin about, MOST people do become sore from running a mile every day and playin sports everyday, and I eat fairly well but dont take vitamins very much
Next time, don't do the activity. Boycott and protest. Start a chant and then see if your sore.

A mile run making you sore? Well besides the obvious answer of running more to build up strength and stamina, maybe you need better shoes. From someone who has run in $100 running shoes, to skateboard shoes, to combat boots, the shoes make a big difference.
Oh, and I forgot to tell you to take a cold/hot shower combination. When you take a shower, use hot water for a few minutes, then cold water, hot water, and then cold water again. This makes your muscles contract and relax, helping to make you less sore.
Wait! Your getting sore from running a mile every day?
HAHAHAHAAHHAHA
I run at least 5 miles a day and often more then 8!
You will get use to it though.

Anyways, ingest more protein, stretch before AND after your work, and be sure that you're getting enough sleep. Also running is cardio, cardio doesn't make most people sore.
A mile can be really stressful on your muscles in you run it fast enough. And to anyone that isn't used to any kind of running, a mile is easily enough to get someone sore. I was in cross country for four years, I saw a lot of new runners get sore from just doing a warm up and cool down.
Running is not just cardio. Ever heard of runners "hitting a wall"? Running doesn't just make you breathe hard and make your heart pump. It can take a lot out of your body.

what time do you get for it? If you are going sub 5 then I guess you could be sore from it.

This is true - as someone who has to run barefoot (and it's a legitimate strategy, look it up) because his shoes completely fucked up his running, look into getting a decent practical pair of shoes.
As for being sore from just physical activity... that's actually pretty damn sad. Run more.

By shin muscle, I assume you mean calf. Well there are a few ways to help with that.
1. Stretch. A lot.
2. Drink plenty of water. If your piss is yellow, you're doing it wrong.
3. Do a cool down exercise.
Your calf muscle being sore after running is sorta a given. Hit the weight room and do some squats and deadlifts. It's gonna make you sorer, but pain is just weakness leaving the body.

That definitely wasn't sprinting. At 16, you should be getting 6 or 7 minute miles.
To the OP, how fit are you in comparison to the rest of your Phys. Ed class?
well we're all pretty fit since its a class we chose to take not like 9th grade gym where u have to take it

That is a good plan. Also stretching will help.
