Thanks everyone who came out to PAX! I was surprised by the amount of NG folks who came out this year. Besides familiar faces like Egoraptor, RubberNinja, Glaiel-Gamer, StarOgre and MoriChax, I got to meet people like Sakupen, jouste, bigbadron, GoshaDole, PrettyMuchBryce, Xerus, Rig, Murudai, merlin and fluffkomix!

My flight home was scheduled for Sunday but got cancelled due to the hurricane. I was stuck in Seattle until Tuesday and had a great time watching Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Attack the Block to kill time. I don't get out much nowadays.

I brought back one good piece of swag from PAX; a latex clown mask that was given to anyone who played the new Twisted Metal. Instead of tossing it in a mystery box, we're gonna have a quick competition!

Objective: Animate a clown dying. Be as creative and comical as possible while showing off your frame by frame skills.

Submission Process: Upload your animation to dump and post a link right here in this thread. You can make it an official Portal entry if you think it stacks up.

Deadline: Friday, September 9th at 1pm EST. We'll watch all the entries and pick a winner during a live broadcast that afternoon.

The winner gets the mask and can wear it for Halloween! I would post a better picture but I don't want to take it out of its packaging:

I actually work as a clown. I make balloon animals and do magic tricks.

So... you can animate me dying if you want.

I got Flash CS4 in case you need something converted to CS3.

Awesome mask. I'd love to have it but I'd have no chance of winning. I hope it at least goes to a Twisted Metal fan. I haven't played a (good) TM game since I was like 5 years old, I can't believe they're making a new game.
