Myne was like "West side" and all trying to be fly with his wings.
Then some rival east side shot him because he was in the wrong neighborhood.
very sad story.

the story of icarus (correct me of I'm wrong) is about a man with wax(?) wings that flies too close to the sun and they melt. I'm not sure why everyone just made dudes with jetpacks and wings XD

Hyp, you don't need to defend yourself, I love your art. I'm just saying everyone missed the point of the theme.

IN OTHER NEWS, I FINALLY HAVE A WORKING COMPUTER AGAIN WITH MY TABLET DOWNLOADED AND WHATNOT :DDDDDDDDD so happy. Will be participating again this week. :)

The theme wasn't draw Icarus, it was re-imagine Icarus, and everyone did that in their own manner.

i understand, but the only elements of the theme anyone incorporated was flight. in such a case, the theme should have just been "flight" xD there was a lot of stuff you could have picked out from the theme. The sun, freedom, tragedy, flight, etc. I just think the first thing people thought of was "OH, a guy that can fly!" Which is just a bit loose to be called an Icarus theme. but to each his own. i don't really care enough to argue any further. lol
