First you need to blend it a bit better. At the edge of the guys hair you need to either blur it a bit, or feather it. Also, on the left it sort of looks like you combined two images together, because you can see a very sharp edge, so try blending that too. The text is a bad color for the rest of the sig. You can't even see it in some parts. The font is fine, just change the color. Needs a border too, I recommend black or a nice neutral blue. Maybe nudge the text up a few pixels too. 5.5/10 because of that text color. If you change that text I would give it something like a 7/10, if you do the other things I suggested I would give it around an 8/10.

God damnit, I'm watching Goldeneye so I forgot to add that the contrast between the face and the background doesn't work too well, along with the size. The backgrounds looks like it consists of some wierd thing, and that thing is a bit bigger than the face, if it's a big image I would suggest making it smaller or zooming out so the face is bigger than what's in the background. So modify the background a bit by making it smaller and modifying the color.

I would still recommend giving it a 1 pixel outside border, and putting the .gif under the inside border. Move the text over about 1-2 pixels to the left, along with the .gif 5-6 pixels to the right. The background fits nice allowing the .gif to stand out but I still think the sig is a bit blank. Of course, I remember that .gif file being something around 40kb so I understand why there is a limited amount of content in the sig. The angryblue font goes nicely IMO. 7.3/10

No thanks, I use the sig so I can change my name as frequently as I want, but all the while people will still recognize me from my sig. Thanks for the offer though.

Actually, I did think you were kidding. I just used your post as an excuse to write all that. Everything in that post was directed towards the other people flaming in this club. You just gave me some content to work with. I still meant everything I said for anyone wishing to flame us because of a bad rating though.

I was only "flamed" because I stuck up for a guy who rated my sig. After he rated my sig quikfox told him to get out. yet in the forum sigs club,in the general section everyone asks quikfox to get out and he doesn't wich is hypocritical

First off let me say that I don't intend for this post to be percieved as a "flame", I am not angry in any way, shape, or form.
I didn't percieve QuikFox's post to be very offensive, or flameworthy. He was simply stating the rules that unless you are a member, you can't rate sigs. The point of the club is to give people tips on how to make their sig better, and we have members to conserve good, quality, useful ratings. If we just let random people rate then this would just be a rating thread, not a sig improvement thread. This thread has changed a lot since the first page. As for QuikFox not getting out of the general thread, that thread is open to anybody, it's a public thread, not a club with members. QuikFox gives good pointers, probably much better than the people in that thread. So I don't see any legitimate reason other than those people don't like him (which, actually, isn't a legitimate reason) as to why QuikFox should get out of that thread.

Quikfox is cool as fuck, I don't know what the hell is goin on here. He takes the time to review sigs to the fullest and way better than anybody else in this thread, he makes sigs better than anybody on NG too, so shut the hell up.
Sorry, but I'm tired of people giving him shit, its getting really old. He is an ASSET to newgrounds, he's involved in a lot of threads and made a lot of kick ass sigs for a lot of people.

I don't agree with that. That black border gives the sig a more of a 3D effect. Well, thats what I see anyway.

Anyway, I tried out one of these BBS sigs and found they're incredibly easy to piece together, so this was my attempt at my own.
What do you think?
It looks pretty good.

Defidently. I noticed it is probably themed to the Newgrounds BBS color for the border, but the border is barely visable, you should probably lighten that up a few shades when you have the chance. It might look lighter if you make the middle abstract darker, since when you contrast too colors of seperate values together, each one seems exagerated. The font is okay, the text would stand out better with the bevel, if it was a different color, I think it blends too much with the background. So basically the only problem with your sig is colors, and values, they don't all fuse together too well, but with that aside, the overall quality of the sig is pretty good.

I like it, it's cool, don't really like the border though, just make it plain white instead of those little bar thingies in-between. 8/10

There are several different background colors. That's probably the one that isn't behind the signatures.
