what kind of idiot would abuse the fuck out of canas' mod powers?

If they had access to a mod account, don't you think it would be wise to misuse the mod powers in secret?

I was once online when a moderator was phished by the DD and he deleted and locked heaps and heaps of threads, banned me and tons of others on the forums and said naughty things

Lame. I now have a garbage whistle... but thanks for lifting the ban!

I am glad that i am a newgrounds nobody..... Nothing is my account is changed. My whistle satas is always garbage :(

Don't worry, it's safe now. The account was recovered and at the moment has no mod powers, so you can safely review and blow your whistle again.

And I have a link to a... Gay site. I don't get why, But... I have been banned from portal reviews. Fuu.

This account must have been compromised for some time as I have had someone coming around my audio submissions and rating them zero. It takes me several weeks of rerating (with a vote power of 3.xx I forget the exact decimal, average of 14 days for a total of 42 votes.) to get them back up to a rating where people notice it and come listen for a fair rating.

I review everything I vote, and don't vote unless I can find it worthy of either a complete blam or a complete save. Generally, I vote complete save (5) more often than not. Mostly I just lurk, watch, listen, and submit.

Thank for getting this all cleared up Tom! When I first saw I was banned I actually went straight to PMing Canas (respectfully might I add). I noticed the Hacker had also messed up his whole entire account! He replied to my PM with this message "My apologies for the mixup, unfortunately my account was hacked at 3:30 this morning and as a result the hacker attacked all my personal accounts, including my facebook and personal email. You were obviously banned by this perp, and I extend my sincere apologies towards any inconvenience this may have caused you. I am currently in the process of talking with the admins and trying to get all this sorted out." I am sure this message goes to all the people who had been banned, please don't take out your anger on Canas as he is trying his best to sort this out!

That above statement of rerating is just the number of votes, times my voting power, it takes to neutralize the zero rating. I hate zero bombers, because it instantly takes my music off the list on the first ten pages, making it descend so many pages that people don't want to take the time to browse through it just to get to that song. Now if I got more votes in a shorter period of time and had my music listened to for a fair rating, I wouldn't have to take time out of my day just to rerate my song just because some troll decided to rate me zero without leaving a review. Now, if people voted zero and left me a review, I wouldn't have a problem with it, because I would know why they thought my music deserved a blam vote, and I would have the guidance to improve.
